(1994 June)
I don't see much of Jill, who is taking care of twin boys who may be a year old now. I asked her if she got paid for this and she said, "No. Haven't you ever done anything without pay?" I think she was going to Chicago with the mother, driving, so I can see the need. I said, "How do you get these jobs?" "The minister says there is a need for so and so and anyone who can help please stand up." So up Jill stands. She said a black boy who attended college had his mother come to graduation and stayed with her. Both mother and father couldn't afford it, so one came.
