I have just come from the dining room where all the revels are held. I sat next to Margaret Scott, who was busy holding sips of a beverage, pink, to celebrate MardiGras, to the lips of a poor one who could not raise the glass herself. Our priest was here earlier with HolyCommunion for me.

Snow day

Sharlee Sharteeno, our weather man, told of No School all over today due to big drifts of snow over the road. Jealous, Sally? The plows will be out shortly tho. Last night the high wind went Ooooooooo. I just saw a plow with blinking lights go by, yet the wind shaking the trees. Thermomenter [in her room] 80 degrees- must be out of order.

Had a man here with animals - a white rabbit, a cat, a goat. Margaret Scott stopped in later and said she didn't go. They never had animals at home, and she thot they might hurt her.

Bill took me to doctor today, and he [the doctor] saw rash on ankle. I took along creams I had, and he said they were just the ticket; no $ for medicine was needed.
