I rode in the elevator to an auditorium to hear an expert talk on Landfills with a screen illustrating. Really very dull, and I didn't stay to the end.

Bubble bath

Do you collect anecdotes of Margaret Scott? She was just here telling of a time last night. She has a tub in her bath as I do not. She got a package of Bubble Bath for a gift and put a pickage in, and the water became so slippery she couldn't get out! Then, figuring it was the bubbles, she got rid of them and got out OK.

Jan and Bill here yesterday saying latest is an employer must hire 2 people, not one as before. I think this is to have a witness to accusations.

Drawers

Bill Birkett here with sander to even drawers in bedside table with 2 drawers and glasstop, and I got all ready, emptied drawers and papers down. He sanded a little, then reversed the drawers and all worked well. We never thot of that little trick.

Suddenly I have a roommate. This girl ran The Discount Store in RC, also Paramont Picture Studio near Police Station. As I write this, she comes in and says, "Are you going to stay in here all day?" Me: "I may not." Helen: "They are all around the tele in the lobby." Me: "Oh." Later, Helen: "They aren't there any more now." Me: "Oh." Helen: "What are you going to do?" Me: "Have my hair washed" Helen: "Oh."

Aunt Olga

P.S. - Sherry, years ago when I was young, I knit a sweater but could not K2 P2, and my Aunt Olga in Oconto [WI] said to send it to her and she would finish it. She wrote back reproving me for wrapping it so poorly. Said the post man came with the knitting needles in his hand! From then on, I tried to wrap better.
