Ivanhoe

I am going through Ivanhoe with MM <15> who is bogged down. She says it is boring when she can't understand it I think, so we are at it together. 5 chapters to go. She likes the people and the story, but the language is hard for her and I am sure she doesn't understand chivalry etc., and what is worse, doesn't want to. The big difference between M and her brother is that whereas he is curious, she is not. They should even off somewhat.
